What the transition looked like in practice

Comments from people who used our employment consulting for temporary-to-permanent employment transition support — including one who still had to wait a season.

“The pathway review forced me to put dates on paper. I had been waiting for the agency to ‘mention’ permanence. Once we saw the host’s planning cycle, I booked a meeting with my Schichtleiter in the same week.”

Jonas R. — production temporary worker, pathway review

“Contract clarity was drier than I expected, which I needed. Two paragraphs about assignment end dates had completely passed me by when I signed in a hurry.”

Elena V. — administrative assignment, contract clarity session

“Conversation coaching helped, though I still sound stiff when I practise in German. The written talking points were what I actually used in the room with HR.”

Samuel O. — warehouse coordinator, employer conversation coaching

“We did not get the permanent post in the first round. The consulting still mattered — I stopped sending the same anxious email to the agency and host HR every Friday.”

Anika M. — care assistant on Zeitarbeit, pathway review

Extended note: from nine-month assignment to open-ended contract

A logistics coordinator in the Leipzig area joined a host company through an agency with a verbal hint that “good people stay.” After seven months, no permanent draft existed. A pathway review mapped equal-treatment timing, the host’s autumn headcount meeting, and the agency’s notice rules.

The worker used employer conversation coaching once, then waited through a quieter November. In January the host opened an internal permanent seat. Application packaging aligned the Lebenslauf to the internal posting. The Festanstellung began the following month — later than hoped, but with clauses the worker had already decided were non-negotiable.

The mild reservation she shared afterward: “I wish I had started the document folder earlier. The consulting could not invent missing payslips.”
